Reflections of a good weekend

Written by jamie on March 21st, 2011

My weekend:

– I had breakfast with a sweet friend at my favorite restaurant. It had been way too long since we’d seen each other, and we had way too much to catch up on.

– Housecleaning. Doesn’t sound like fun, but getting the dust bunnies off the floor makes me feel better and more relaxed. Cleaning with Bill Engvall on in the background makes it much more entertaining.

– Laundry. Again, doesn’t sound fun, but it actually is with our new washer and dryer! Lots of fun buttons and dings! Plus, I found a way to get those nasty, lingering B.O. smells out of my shirts. Vinegar is a wonderful thing.

– I decided to be overambitious in my yoga practice. I tried an hour long video that about killed me. I pushed through and did what I could and actually felt good after I was done.

– Ran errands with the hubby. Used gift cards to pay for most of it. Used very little of our own $. Dave would be so proud.

– Didn’t have to cook dinner and finished up some leftovers.

– Drank some wine and got a little giddy.

– Played Wii while giddy and still managed to beat Drew on baseball. I played until my triceps were screaming. Wii + intense yoga workout = OW.

– Slept in and enjoyed a great breakfast made by my wonderful hubby. And two cups of coffee. That makes for a great morning.

Balanced eggs.

– Had some scrapbook inspiration, and although I didn’t actually get any pages done, I’m getting closer!

– Enjoyed dinner out while listening to a friend play live music.

– Had a good night’s sleep and actually feeling ready to tackle my week.
